By using the social login function in the following step, you have the option of registering via social media platforms (Google, Facebook, Apple or Linkedin) on our online customer portal using your social media user data.
To use your social media accounts for authentication to our online customer portal personal data will be transmitted to us from your social media platform operator. The transmitted data will only be processed by us to create a user account with the necessary data (title, first name, last name, address data, country, email address, date of birth).
Depending on the user profile and platform operator, this information includes your user ID, name, profile picture (URL), age, and gender. Furthermore, we collect technical data such as the operating system, browser type, language settings, historized usage data (registration date, access date), as well as an individual user ID.
We will only process your personal data for the purposes stated here with your explicit consent in accordance with Article 6.1 (a) GDPR before the processing of the personal data. The consent given can be revoked at any time by sending us a message. Furthermore, you can stop the data transfer to us at any time by withdrawing the corresponding consent (permission) in the privacy settings of your social media provider. In both cases, please note that you can no longer log in to our online customer portal with your social media user data, only by registration of an e-mail account.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the aforementioned social media providers as well as your related rights and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in the corresponding data protection information from your provider.
If you decide to use the email login option, we only collect your email address and technical data such as the operating system, browser type, language settings, historical usage data (registration date, access date), and an individual user ID.
The data processed exclusively to link your social media or email account with our online portal is transmitted via an encrypted connection (SSL / TLS encryption). Information of the security-critical login data (in particular passwords) is technically excluded as part of the linking process.

The aforementioned service provider is obliged by the standard contractual clauses issued by the European Commission and agreed with us to ensure through technical and organizational measures that the processing of personal data carried out for the purpose of the service (authentication of portal users) is in accordance with European data protection law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
